Product / SKU defined in this service:

SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) is a unique code or identifier assigned to a specific product within a store’s inventory. It serves as a way to differentiate between different variations or versions of a product. For example, if a t-shirt comes in various sizes and colors, each variant would have its own unique SKU.

SKUs help retailers keep track of different versions of products, monitor stock levels, and facilitate efficient order fulfillment. For instance, if a store sells a particular type of shoe in three colors and four sizes, there would be multiple SKUs associated with that single product to distinguish between the different variations. This aids in managing inventory, restocking efficiently, and tracking sales of specific product configurations.
